The Pursuit of Money

50% off

Saving money is a lost art. Most of us think we save money by buying something cheaper than we expected. However, the value of an item is rarely related to the price paid. When did you last make an offer for a product below the advertised price? Why not ?

Focus on Cheap at your Peril

If you are visiting a city center and discover free on-street parking, you may be pleased. However, the $4/hour it would have cost you in the nearby car park soon looks cheap when you have to repair the vandalized car window. The cost of this repair might be covered by your insurance but it will take several phone calls to organize and time to get the glass replaced, not to mention the extended delay in your day when it happens. Imagine now that you have a chance meeting with someone who may be going to make you an offer of employment. Are you going to be at your best? Will you be feeling positive and upbeat? Lost opportunity cannot have a price put on it. Fortune does not really favor the brave or the bold. It usually favors the prepared

Good Health, Great Food

Food varies greatly. Take Whole Foods Market offering quality at a premium price versus your everyday supermarket with prepared meals stacked high. Food is cheap for a reason. The carbohydrate content of own brand foods in the cheaper supermarkets tends to be higher because the ingredients are cheap. Your basket of shopping will look cheap because it is. The food will provide sustenance for a reduced period and the carbohydrates will cause increased weight gain. Eating fresh food using quality ingredients takes very little time, provides longer sustenance and ends up costing less because you gain greater value from the food and waste less on intermediate snacks and the health effects of eating a poor quality diet.

Focus on managing your time and strive for quality in everything from parking the car to the food you eat.

Money will take care of itself.
